I am Jacqueline "Jax" Shelton, operating as the Cosmic Stateswoman and the Culinary Cosmographer.

I am finding the courage to be exactly who I am in a world that often demands compromise. I do not position myself as a traditional guide or a self-proclaimed expert. Instead, my mission is empowerment through example. After a lifetime of living for others, I am stepping into a state of liberation.

I am taking the time to become visible so that whoever is meant to find me might have their own spark lit. By living as courageously and authentically as possible—across military aviation, high-stakes defense, and the culinary arts—my hope is to show you what is possible. If you see me holding my own gravity, the message is simple: you have permission to do the same.

The Trajectory of a (Cosmic) Stateswoman

01. GROUND CONTROL

Regal Cinemas, Live Oak 18. My foundation in high-volume logistics and the art of the "show." This is where I first mastered the discipline of the basics and the theater of public experience.

02. THE CRAFT

The Professional Kitchen. From the intense halls of Le Cordon Bleu Austin (Texas Culinary Academy) to the high-stakes lines of Cinderella’s Royal Table at Walt Disney World and the Omni Mansion Del Rio, I honed the resilience, sensory precision, and unwavering standards of a professional line and pastry cook.

03. THE ASCENT

The 89th Airlift Wing. In 2008, I traded the professional kitchen for the United States Air Force. This era bridged my culinary roots with analytical rigor and tactical precision, proving that excellence in service is the prerequisite for flight.

04. THE NAVIGATION

Academic Stratosphere. As an alumna of Harvard University and Johns Hopkins, I continue to amass the intellectual gravity to navigate the world’s most complex systems with integrity and poise.

05. THE INTEGRATION

Cosmic Calibration. Today, as a U.S. Air Force Veteran and the Culinary Cosmographer, I integrate my experiences from working at the theater, in the kitchen, on the aircraft, and in the classroom into a single, sovereign orbit.
